86 Talent wins two awards at the Global Influencer Marketing Awards

86 Talent is delighted to announce two winning bronze for two prestigious awards at the Global Influencer Marketing Awards.

We are delighted to have one two bronze awards at the 2025 Global Influencer Marketing Awards.  As such a young agency, to have won bronze in both categories we applied for is a huge honour, especially considering the fierce competition from longer established and inspiring agencies we were in company with!

The whole team got together for the evening, which was probably the best win of the evening, since it’s the first time we have all actually met each other in real life!  Remote working has huge benefits, but being able to get together and spend time as a team in such a celebratory environment was definitely our gold win of the evening.

Best Boutique Talent Agency

Our first win was bronze for Best Boutique Talent Agency.  To be in the top three boutique talent agencies is such an accomplishment!  We couldn’t be prouder of this win.  We were founded at the end of 2022, so with less than three years in business, this feels like a huge pinch me moment for the whole team and is testament to how hard the talent managers have worked to secure big brand deals for our talent this year.  We are proud to have been the first talent agency in the UK with a focus (at that time) on home lifestyle to represent black content creators.  It’s an area where black and ethnic minority creators are still very under represented and we are keen to work hard to help drive a more inclusive influencer marketing industry in the UK.

Key to our win is also that we, on average, quadruple the earnings of our content creators within their first year with us.  We pride ourselves on representing a diverse roster with a range of talents, skills and interests and we enjoy working with them on strategy to help them grow and succeed in this competitive industry.  We have recently completed out 6-monthly reviews for our roster and, on average, we generate around 60-70% of work for our roster, the rest coming from inbound enquiries.  This illustrates just how hard the team work in advocating for our talented bunch of creators.

Game Changing Leader of the Year

The second award (and the very last one of the evening, so huge thanks to my team for powering through!) was for me, and that was bronze for Game-Changing Leader of the Year.  When I consider that the winner of gold was the incredible Becky Owen from Billion Dollar Boy, I can only marvel at the honour of being listed up there with such incredible talent within our industry.

I started 86 Talent in 2022 – 86 means ‘bringing wealth into your home’ in numerology in case you ever wondered! – and we have gone from strength to strength since.  Having myself been a creator, I had experienced first hand some of the inadequacies of the talent management available for influencers and a huge part of what I wanted to achieve with 86 Talent was to ensure good advocacy for influencers who could easily otherwise be taken advantage of.  I drew on my knowledge as a solicitor to ensure contracts were water tight and protected our influencers interests.  I grew a roster of talented individuals and enjoyed working with them on strategy to help them grow successful businesses as influencers, with us as their support along the way.

The best part of course, has been growing the 86 Team – our play on the A Team – and I feel privileged to work alongside such a genuinely lovely bunch of women who lift each other up.  We each have our own strengths and the whole team is encouraged to lean into those, growing with the agency.  Our amazing Talent Director Sarah has been with us since early in 2023 and been fundamental in growing the business, whilst the rest of the team have joined along the way.

As I’ve said when I was shortlisted; it’s very easy to lead a team like this.  So thank you team, for making 86 Talent the success it is today.
